How do I join the Lynn Time Bank?

Members of the Lynn Time Bank participate in service exchanges with other LTB members. Membership applications may be completed on paper, by fax, or via a website. Web applications are found at http://community.timebanks.org then click "find TimeBanks" and click "join" next to the Lynn Time Bank. New members meet with the Director, and all ongoing & prospective members are invited to participate in monthly social events at various location in Lynn (see "News & Events" tab on this website).

There are no minimum participation requirements; if your life gets busy, you can reduce the amount of time you spend giving and receiving help. Your Time Dollars never expire!

"What if I have time to help others but I don't need any help?"

That's fine, you are more than welcome to participate in Lynn Time Bank activities. Your earned Time Dollars never expire. Your hours of help to others can be saved for a "rainy day", you never know when you might need a ride or a warm meal delivered to your door.

"What if I only have time once per month to help out?

No problem! There are no minimum requirements for participation. We look forward to your time whenever it is convenient for you. In fact, we'd rather have you say "no" to a request than to always say "yes" and then feel too tired or stressed.
