Lynn Time Bank Reorganization is Underway!

It has been a year of significant change for the Lynn Time Bank and with the start of 2010, we are excited to begin a new chapter in our history. The month of January is full of unprecedented opportunities for Lynn Time Bank members to take an active leadership role in making the time bank sustainable.

There will be three member reorganization meetings happening in January. These meetings will provide an important gathering time of networking, renewal of commitment to the Lynn Time Bank, and start a more open dialogue between the membership and the board of the Lynn Time Bank. Because of the important nature of these meetings, membership attendance is required. Please let our office know which meeting you will be attending.

Never before has there been so much opportunity for members to directly improve the timebank. Please consider taking a leadership role and helping us move into the new decade with more service exchanges and a stronger community!

New Time Bank Software, Time and Talents, has Launched!

The Lynn Time Bank is excited to announce that it has switched to the Time and Talents software effective Monday, November 9! Time and Talents was designed by a time bank member from Hour Exchange Portland and has proven to be an extremely valuable tool for growing timebanking communities.

All membership, contact, attribute, and service information will be carried over to Time and Talents. Members will need to obtain new usernames and passwords for security reasons. We apologize for any inconvenience in the lapse of account access. If you experience any problems through the transfer, please contact the office so that our staff, and the Time and Talents support staff can assist you.

When you obtain you new login please review your account. There are new features that allow you to enter custom descriptions of your services, and a short bio. You may also set up services you are seeking with descriptions, as these are also searchable by other members.

In order to give our membership the opportunity to learn how to use Time and Talents, we will be hosting orientations for our membership in the coming weeks. Please watch your inbox for more information. If you would like more information, please contact the office, and or see the User Guide here.
