Fifth graders earn new computers!

In partnership with the Washington Community Magnet School and the Connery School, the Lynn Time Bank has developed a program for fifth graders titled "Bridging the Gap with Youth and Computers". 5th grade students must participate in 25 hours of community service (they will earn 25 Time Dollars), and an adult relative or guardian of the student must participate in 10 hours of community service during the school year. In June, an awards ceremony will be held, where all students who completed their hours of service will receive a new computer to take home!

Parents/guardians of 5th graders may register to participate several ways; click on "how to sign up" on the left side of this screen. Tutors and other interested helpers are also invited to join the Lynn Time Bank!

This website will be updated with details as the project develops. For more information, please contact the Lynn Time Bank office.
